Ruben Parra-Cardona has been named the Plenary Speaker for the 2022 World Family Therapy Congress in San Juan, Puerto Rico, April 7 - 9.
|
|
|
Dr. Parra-Cardona is Associate Professor in the Steve Hicks School of Social Work (SHSSW) at the University of Texas at Austin. At the SHSSW, he serves as the Coordinator for Initiatives in Mexico and Latin America, as well as Area Director for Research at the UT Austin Latino Research Institute. His cultural adaptation studies have been funded by the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) and most recently, by the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA).
